Capital of Denmark, Copenhagen is a truly gorgeous city – small enough to be intimate and accessible on foot, yet large enough to be hugely interesting with excellent infrastructure. For bars and cafes, Nørrebro is a must, Vesterbro and the artificial island of Christianshavn are definitely worth a visit and don’t miss some of Europe’s top Art Museums.

For sheer romance, there are few European cities that can live up to Venice. For an unforgettable time, take a boat trip around the outskirts of the city to appreciate the beautiful architecture from afar. Otherwise the best way to get around is on foot. Explore the Medici palace and be sure to stand in the middle of the magnificent piazza San Marco where you can see St Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, once Venice’s political and judicial hub and Torre dell’Orologio, a clock tower built between 1496 and 1506.

If the chance to immerse yourself in an enchanting world of castles and palaces sounds right up your street, then Prague is the perfect Autumn playground. Steeped in history and rich in culture, lose yourself in the winding cobbled streets and explore the many historical landmarks like the famous Charles Bridge and the impressive Prague Castle.
We recommend the Iron Gate Hotel just steps from the Old Town for an extra touch of luxury and a chance to get up close and personal with the city’s history. Remnants of frescos from the 14th century are visible throughout and most rooms have the original hand painted beams on display.

Modern Rome is also full of chic bars, eclectic restaurants and stylish designer shops. Autumn is the perfect time to visit and discover the “Eternal City”.

George Bernard Shaw once said that “those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and find it”. The city is steeped in stunning architecture and spectacular churches, monasteries, museums, and fountains are around every corner. The narrow streets, including the stunning main street, Stradun, can get very busy around the summer months and tempertures can get low in winter so autumn is the very best time to visit.
We think the ideal is to stay a little outside the hustle and bustle of Old Town and it’s surrounds. We recommend Hotel Kazbek, a stunningly restored 5* set in an old summer residence of one of Dubrovnik’s noble families built in 1573.
